Avoid starting any new skincare products containing Vitamin A (retinol) or glycolic acid.

48 HOURS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Avoid waxing the treatment area.

ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
-
No caffeine (coffee, pre-workout, energy drinks, etc.).
-
Ensure there is no fake tan on your face.

-
No peels, microdermabrasion, facials, or laser treatments in the treatment area.
-
No vitamin A/retinols/glycolic acid products on your face

Please do not tint your brows within 48 hours of your appointment.
-
If you have blonde hairs and regularly tint them, you may tint them about a week before your appointment for accurate color matching.
-
Make sure there is no tint stain on the skin on the day of your treatment.

SKIN CONDITIONS
Your appointment may not be able to go ahead if you have:

-
Any open wounds, sunburn, or damaged skin in the treatment area
-
Active psoriasis, dermatitis, or eczema in or around your brows
If any of these are present, your procedure may need to be postponed until the area is fully healed.
PLEASE NOTE: Cosmetic tattoo cannot be placed over any moles, the tattoo must go around any raised moles. Freckles are fine.

If you are breastfeeding, it is recommended to “pump and dump” for 48 hours after your procedure due to the anaesthetics applied during the treatment.

COLD SORE PREVENTION
Lip tattooing can trigger a cold sore outbreak, even if you haven’t had one in a long time.
If you are prone to cold sores, it is strongly advised to take an antiviral medication (available over the counter at your local pharmacy).
Your pharmacist can provide a 3-day course (one tablet daily) - take one on the day of your procedure and one on each of the two days following.
For additional prevention, taking Lysine in the weeks leading up to your appointment is recommended.
